Summary

Job Summary

Maintains patient accounts to ensure accurate and timely delivery of CCHH infusion and specialty drugs. Receives and processes patient reimbursement information from patients, hospitals, physicians, managed Medicaid and third party payers. Processes claims for the CCHH Specialty Drug Division to include the billing and collections activities. Reconciles patient accounts and works with accounts receivable; providing the HH Specialty Pharmaceutical Drug Supervisor with financial, volume, and trending data.

Education and Experience

• High School diploma required
• Preferred experience dealing with health care reimbursement
• High degree of interpersonal skills
• Preferred knowledge of specialty pharmaceutical billing procedures
• Preferred knowledge of intake procedures and familiarity of the reimbursement process
• Preferred ability to interpret contracts with payers to maintain payer relationships to keep CCHH records current and in compliance
• Maturity to withstand pressure that may arise in relation to the public and/or administration
