Summary

Develops, implements and maintains policies, procedures, programs and the overall plan for ensuring the security and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology. Conducts risk management analysis and creates disaster recovery plans. Manages the coordination and execution of the testing processes (exercises) utilized to validate the disaster recovery plans and to identify weaknesses and failure points in the plans. Develops the organization's resumption plan including identifying and securing necessary off site resources and ensuring action plans are in place and communicated. Consults with IT project teams to determine system criticality and design disaster recovery protection schemes commensurate with that criticality for business needs for all CCHCS companies. Maintains the disaster recovery attributes of all systems in the CCHCS configuration management database on an ongoing basis throughout the life of every system. Works closely with infrastructure and architecture teams to evaluate and optimize technology solutions to advance the reliability and effectiveness of system protection tools and their uses. Will also participate to deliver necessary information to support audits and applications such as HHS processes when required.

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree in related field required.
  • 5 plus years of experience in enterprise IT disaster recovery and project management experience.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles and data center technology preferred.
  • Expert level knowledge of IT Service Management principles, best practices and frameworks such as ITIL.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • In-depth analysis, reporting and documentation skills.
  • Ability to effectively monitor and implement continuous improvement in the area of disaster recovery.
  • Ability to document and communicate complex concepts in a user-friendly and audience-appropriate fashion to all levels in the organization from line level to management and executive teams.
  • Experience building and fostering coalitions to enable cooperation across multiple teams and domains to resolve complex problems and improve processes.
  • Proven interpersonal and verbal communication skills are required including excellent customer relationship skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple projects with competing demands for resources.
  • Comfortable leading and facilitating meetings via video/audio conferencing or other communication tools.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification:

  • ITIL certification required.
