Summary
The Advanced Care Technician will provide care to patients at Cook Children’s Medical Center, perform support functions related to unit operations, and will support and supplement the health care team in designated areas of the hospital.
Education & Experience
1. High School Diploma
2. Completion of accredited paramedic training.
3. At least one (1) year experience as a paramedic.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification
1. Paramedic Certification or Licensure
2. Basic Life Support Provider
3. At least one of the following: Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Pediatric Education for Pre-Hospital Professionals, or Emergency Pediatric Care
