Cook Children's Health Care System (based in Fort Worth, TX) has a great opportunity for a board certified/board eligible pediatric surgeon to join a growing practice at their Prosper, Texas facility. Cook Children’s Prosper Campus is a state-of-the-art medical facility including multispecialty outpatient clinics, urgent care, as well as a free-standing children’s hospital scheduled to be opened in late 2022. When opened, the children’s hospital will include emergency services, medical/surgical unit, and operating rooms.
The Prosper campus, also referred to as the north campus, is surrounded by Cook Children’s primary care practices and it is anticipated the number of primary care providers will continue to grow in the north campus area by 2022. The Prosper campus also has several specialties to include gastroenterology, neurology, nephrology, urology, cardiology, endocrinology, pulmonary, ENT, H/O, surgery and sleep medicine.
Cook Children’s is committed to securing a pediatric surgeon whose professional, social, and economic interests would lend themselves to a long-term, cultural fit within the institution, the medical staff, and the community. The candidate will be responsible for surgical care at the Prosper location with inpatient consultations when hospital construction is complete. The candidate will be responsible for call with planned back up from local community surgeons and by the pediatric surgery group from the main campus in Fort Worth. Salary will be competitive and guaranteed for the first 2 years.

Incumbent must have completed an accredited pediatric surgeon training program and be board certified/board eligible in pediatric surgery and able to secure an unrestricted Texas Medical License.
